We are pleased to announce that UTAM, on behalf of the University of Toronto, has become a member of the Intentional Endowments Network, the IEN. The IEN is a membership organization of like-minded institutions of higher education that collectively seek to advance consideration and implementation of their individual responsible investing initiatives.
The IEN supports organizations in aligning their endowment investment practices with their responsible investing goals without sacrificing financial returns. In doing so, this broad-based, collaborative network strives to make a significant and critical contribution to creating a healthy, just, and sustainable society.
We look forward to participating in these initiatives to fulfill our mandate in support of the university’s responsible investing objectives.
